If there's any solutions that I've missed, please let me know. I'm trying to get a refund for the game from Steam, but its been 13 days since I've bought it, and I've played it for 12 Hours. The only thing I can hope for now is that if I start up Tales of Berseria, it'll start running perfectly again for NO discernible reason whatsoever. I got all of this information from Can You RUN it, which is giving me a green check mark next to the Recommended tab, so I know that my system's requirements are good.
Tales of berseria pc fps issue windows 10#
Video Card: GeForce GTX 1070 Pixel Shader: 5.1 Vertext Shader: 5.1 Dedicated Video RAM 8.0 GB CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU Speed: 2.8 GHz RAM: 16 GB OS: Windows 10 (build 17134), 64-bit Free Disk Space (386 GB) Sound Card (Realtek Audio) Here are the specs to my Alienware 17 R4: Except for this morning, when I tried playing Tales of Berseria again, it was locked at 30 FPS again, and no matter how many times I restarted my computer, it would be stuck at 30 FPS and playing it at 60 FPS would make everything run in slow motion. So I restarted it again, and voila, the game works perfectly in 60 FPS and it did so for the rest of the day with no problems at all. The application would start up, I'd see the opening screen, and before it got to the option where I could choose to have the voices be in either English or Japanese, it would close out. I restarted my Alienware, tried opening Tales of Berseria, now it wasn't opening at all. I tried every solution I could find to no avail. Yesterday, I started playing Tales of Berseria and it was locked at 30 FPS. I know that it can run at 60 FPS again because it has in the past. The only option that will work is changing the framerate to 30, which will make the game run smoothly, but I refuse to run the game at 30 FPS if I know it can be run at 60 FPS, and I just need to do something to make it run at 60 FPS again. Antialiassing is at Ultra (SMAA), Anistropic Filtering is at 16x, Reduce Animations is on, Effect Reductions Buffer is off, Maintain Aspect Ratio is On, and changing any of these settings at all does not affect the fact that Tales of Berseria is locked at 30 FPS. V-Synch is on because if it isn't I have screen tearing issues. I tried to messing with the draw distances, nothing. I tried using the Tales of Berseria "Fix", the only benefit of using that was that I was able to see with my own eyes that the game was locked at 30 FPS and that there was no setting that I could alter to change that fact. I'm running it in Fullscreen mode, still locked at 30 FPS. I've heard about Tales of Berseria's tendency to default to the Intel graphics card, so I've gone into my NVIDIA Control Panel and selected High-performance NVIDIA processor as my preferred graphics processor for this program.

I have tried just about every solution I was able to find on Google. Now the game seems to play in slow motion unless I choose to run it in 30 FPS.

It was running at 60 FPS perfectly until yesterday.
